Graduate Internship Program

In a Nutshell

The Thornybush Graduate Internship Program (12 months) is designed to enable recent graduates who have completed their Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management to gain hands-on work experience at the foundation of their professional lives. Our graduate internship program will give you first-hand insights into the lodge environment.

What you will be doing

Our internship will allow you to become familiar with the hospitality environment with a focus on high-end luxury lodges and their complete operation. You’ll participate in the day-to-day work of the lodge. During your graduate internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure that you have a valuable learning experience.

Requirements

Have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree: Tourism Management
Less than 6 months of working experience
Currently unemployed
Live in the Limpopo Area
Be fluent in oral and written English
Computer literate
Clear Police Record

Position Details

About the internship

12 months (Fixed Term Contract)
Work on site Hoedspruit or Sabi Sands Wildtuin
Work cycle 6 weeks on: 2 weeks off
CATHSSETA Funding Dependant – stipend R 5 000
